I bought a book on ebay to help me with sewing the Hybrid Pets for MDA1….
I sensed it wasnt my best ever buy when i saw that the first project was ‘making a place mat vest’

The second project is: creating a placemat jacket….
the photo to the left shows the stylish placemat vest and jacket. (the pattern didnt mention how its possible four placemats could make a vest for a ‘generously proportioned adult’)

Everybody presented their ideas for the unit which was reeeally interesting!! there was a massive mix of ideas… from emotion recognition software for autistics (Phil) to making armour and weapons from everyday objects like toasters! (Ben)
I’m making an interactive Flash website continuing my hybrid pets idea from MSN1…
I’m looking at loads of Flash sites at the moment to see what can be done and what kind of styles i like.

Ive never used Flash before so I’m quite excited about that…

I installed the game and became ‘Rex Chance’… here are some of the animals i combined
including… The Tiger-Dragonfly, Hippopotamus-Bat, Baboon-Frog, Chimpanzee-Shark, Lobster-Wolf and The Camel-Ant…
hmmm… i guess they are not exactly the kind of thing i am thinking of but it was fun making them!
